Privacy Policy

Vault is a mini print collecting app built by J2 Summit. We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple: we collect only what we need to make the app work, we don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone except the services that help run the app.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to anyone who uses the Vault app or website (miniprint.io). By using Vault, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.

What we collect

When you create an account and use Vault, we collect:

• Your email address and display name
• Your profile information (such as your shipping address, if you choose to provide it)
• Your collection data (prints you've added, trades, sightings, posts)
• Photos you upload to the app
• Activity in the community feed (posts, reactions, comments)
• Payment information when you purchase a membership or subscription (processed securely by Stripe -- we never see your full card number)

The app includes a map powered by Google Maps to help you find print machine locations. Google Maps may collect device information and usage data subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not independently access your device's GPS -- any location services are handled by Google Maps directly and only when you interact with the map.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Run your account and keep your collection data safe
• Show you and other collectors activity in the community feed
• Send you emails related to your account, your membership, or Vault updates (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time)
• Process payments and fulfil membership or subscription benefits
• Improve the app based on how people use it

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the third-party services that power the app:

• Supabase -- our database (stores your account and collection data)
• Stream -- powers the community feed and reactions
• Cloudinary -- stores photos you upload
• Stripe -- processes payments securely
• Resend -- sends transactional and marketing emails

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and security practices. We only share what each service needs to do its job.

How we protect your data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which runs on enterprise-grade infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data.

Your rights

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app: open your collector profile and tap “Delete account,” or open Edit profile and tap “Delete account.” Deletion is immediate and irreversible — it removes your profile, your print collection and photos, your streaks, your giveaway entries, and your messages. You can also email us to access, correct, or delete your data. Any residual copies are purged from backups within 30 days.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies only to keep you logged in and make the app function. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email or through the app before the changes take effect.
