Philly's mini print machines both sit in Di Bruno Bros, the city's best known Italian grocer. The Chestnut Street store covers Rittenhouse and Center City. The 9th Street store is the original, in the middle of the Italian Market, where the machine shares floor space with the cheese counter. The whole circuit is walkable, or one stop on the Broad Street Line.
How Art Vending Machines Work
Each machine takes quarters or tokens, depending on the venue. You cannot choose which print you receive: every pull dispenses one at random. Philly stock rotates throughout the week, especially around First Friday gallery weekends in Old City.
