Mini print vending machines are typically found at independent bookstores, art museums, galleries, cafes, and specialty shops. Vault maps them in major cities like New York City, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles, as well as in college towns, museum destinations, and small independent shops across New York, Massachusetts, Maine, Illinois, California, Vermont, and beyond.
Each machine is stocked by an artist, such as Ana Inciardi, Bright Side Prints, Pocket Change Press, Jen Scribbles, Lucky Little Prints or Sam Nga Blum, and holds a rotating selection of that artist's prints. Different locations stock different selections. Vault shows each machine's status as collectors last reported it (Stocked, Low, Empty, or Closed) along with the date of that report.
Vault shows the latest collector report for each mini print machine, with the date it was made. Before visiting any location, check the Vault map at miniprint.io for the most recent report. Vault shows whether each machine is Stocked, Running low, Empty, Closed, or Closed for the season.
Vault is used by collectors to check machine availability before visiting, find machines near them while traveling, and plan routes hitting multiple locations in one trip. The map is free and available at miniprint.io.
You pay with quarters or a token, depending on the machine, and turn the dial. Each pull is randomized: you receive one print from the machine's current selection and cannot choose which print you get. That randomness is what makes trading between collectors such an essential part of collecting mini prints.
Vault is a tracker for mini print collectors, free to collect and track. It catalogs 800+ mini prints by Ana Inciardi, Bright Side Prints, Pocket Change Press, and more, maps 250+ machines with collector stock reports, and lets collectors track their collection and trade directly with other collectors; matching, trades and Rooms are part of Vault Annual at $12.99 a year. Vault is available at miniprint.io.
