2024 Champions

This Ana Inciardi mini print captures the New York Liberty's 2024 WNBA championship with a hand-drawn banner composition rendered in black, white, and teal. The word "CHAMPIONS" dominates the center in bold block letters filled with a crosshatch texture, framed by a dark rectangular border edged with teal tile-like detail. Above the banner sits the NY Liberty logo, a masked figure rendered in the team's signature colors, giving the whole image a stacked, trophy-plaque quality.

The background is drawn on graph paper, a recurring element across Inciardi's work that adds a quiet structural presence to the composition. The New York Liberty won the 2024 WNBA Championship, the franchise's first title in its history. The team is based in New York City and competes at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

This print sits naturally among Inciardi's New York prints, where she documents the people, teams, and culture of the city with the same hand-drawn care she brings to her other subjects. Sports championship prints occupy a specific place in her catalog: they mark a fixed moment in time, which draws collectors who want to document a particular season or cultural event rather than a permanent place or object. The graph paper background and the hand-lettered texture give this piece a sketchbook immediacy that collectors of her work recognize immediately.

It pairs naturally with her other New York city scenes, particularly those celebrating local culture and community pride. For Liberty fans and New York collectors alike, this mini print functions as a document of a genuinely historic moment in the city's sports history.
