EEEEEATSCON 2025 (Pigeon)

This Ana Inciardi mini print depicts a classic New York City rock pigeon rendered in profile, mid-stride against a clean off-white background. The bird is built from layered blues and grays with a luminous teal-green iridescence across the neck, characteristic dark wing bars, and vivid orange-red feet that anchor the composition with a pop of warm color. The linework is confident and bold, with hatching across the feathers giving the figure real weight and texture.

Lettering along the bottom reads "Eeeeeatscon NYC 2025," placing the print as a commemorative piece tied to a specific event. Rock pigeons are one of the most familiar urban animals in New York City, present in every borough and deeply woven into the texture of daily street life. They are descendants of domesticated European doves introduced centuries ago and have thrived in cities worldwide ever since.

Collectors are drawn to Inciardi's animal subjects for the way she treats ordinary creatures with the same compositional care she gives to food and city landmarks. The pigeon, often overlooked or dismissed, gets a portrait format here, treated as worthy of attention. This print sits comfortably as an animal print within her broader catalog, and it pairs naturally with her other New York prints for collectors building a theme around city life.

The event-specific text also makes it appealing to those who attended Eeeeeatscon, giving it a personal and time-stamped dimension that purely subject-based prints do not carry.
