Ellie's Birthday

This Ana Inciardi mini print centers on a cartoon elephant named Ellie, drawn in a confident upright pose with one fist raised in the air. " Confetti-like shapes scatter around the bold block lettering at the top, which spells out "Big Ellie" in green against a light gray background. The color palette is restrained, relying mostly on grays, black outlines, and mint green accents to give the illustration a cheerful but graphic quality.

The Statue of Liberty is one of New York City's most recognized landmarks, situated on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. The crown and torch have long been cultural shorthand for the city itself, appearing across art, merchandise, and popular imagery. Collectors are drawn to this print for the way it fuses two beloved subjects, the New York landmark and animal characters, into a single playful image.

The birthday theme adds a layer of personal appeal, making it a natural gift print as well as a standalone collectible. This piece sits comfortably as a New York print within Inciardi's catalog while also connecting to her broader roster of anthropomorphized animal characters. It pairs naturally with her other New York prints and animal subjects, and collectors who gravitate toward her character-driven work tend to seek it out alongside similar pieces in her lineup.
