Rep Your City

This Ana Inciardi mini print puts a football-themed spin on one of New York City's most recognizable tourist phrases. The image shows a dark charcoal gray jersey with white V-neck collar trim and white sleeve stripes. Centered on the front, bold white lettering spells out "I" and "NYC" with a brown football replacing the heart in the classic "I Love NYC" format.

The Marriott Bonvoy and NFL shield logos appear together near the lower right hem, grounding the design in a real brand collaboration. The handwritten "Rep Your City" caption below the jersey, along with the artist and sponsor credits, is rendered in loose black script. The iconic "I Love New York" phrase originated as part of a state tourism campaign launched in the 1970s, and the heart-as-symbol version became one of the most referenced design formats in popular culture.

Swapping in a football speaks directly to NFL fandom culture tied to New York. Collectors drawn to sports crossover subjects and city pride imagery tend to gravitate toward this piece. It sits comfortably as a New York print within Inciardi's catalog, where city references and cultural touchstones appear regularly.

The branded collaboration element, featuring both Marriott Bonvoy and the NFL, gives it a distinct documentary quality that sets it apart from her purely illustrative work. It pairs naturally with her other New York city scenes for collectors building a themed grouping. The textured, almost chalky quality of the crayon rendering gives the jersey a nostalgic, hand-crafted feel consistent with her broader visual approach.
